Comments on LCDDensity for Root for Android

★★★★★ Helpful on rooted Nook Simple Touch Does what I wanted it to do on the rooted Nook Simple Touch: it makes the Kindle app more readable for me, and the material on the Android home screen larger and easier to read. It also works in the Nook reader on the Nook "side" of the Android device (so I can switch back and forth between Kindle and Nook readers and have them both provide usable--for me--font sizes. The stock Barnes and Noble apps are not necessarily written to work with this app.

★★★★★ Works like it should, phone's calendar widget doesn't work on home screen, everything else is good. Droid x 2.2

★★★★★ works well on d2, great free app! wish you could lock the density in for hard reboots, that's my only complaint!

★★☆☆☆ I installed on my rooted droidx set app to desired setting hit apply/restart so it would apply settings upon reboot phone froze on droid eye screen

★★☆☆☆ Didn't work Rooted and have busy box on Nexus S running jelly bean. Did absolutely nothing on reboot. Tried all the methods.

★★☆☆☆ ALL rooted androids may PERMANENT change density by txt edit /system/build.prop. u don't need any (paid) app! UNINSTALLED

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't work Restart button does nothing for any restart method. Rooted HTC thunderbolt, s-off, newest ota update stock RoM.
