Learn Ateso - Common Phrases

Ateso is a Nilo-Saharan language, spoken by the Teso people of Uganda and Kenya
There are an estimated 1.9million native speakers of Ateso found in the Eastern part of Uganda and Northwestern part of Kenya.

In 2011, Ateso was among the languages considered to be facing extinction (Link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14530839\) and efforts were being made by some native speakers to save the language.
This became one of the main motivations for the Learn Ateso app because we couldn't stand any relapse of a similar kind.

Therefore the main aim of this app is to teach Ateso to anyone interested in learning the beautiful language.

The app lists English phrases together with the Ateso translations plus the accompanying audio, so that you can learn how to pronounce the phrase right too.

The phrases listed are common phrases you will require in day to day life and you will therefore find them very useful.

Each category contains a subcategory or subcategories bringing the number to 9 subcategories.
