Could have more phrases like "I love you" "merry Christmas" but seeing as this is a free version I'm very impressed overall with this app. A definite recommend if you'd like to start out learning Finnish.

Awesome app!! It has features similar to Duolingo (and it makes an awesome pair if you're reading duo's hints!) But it focuses on words and **only** words, so you'll have to pair it with grammar lessons and media. It also has helpful tests with pronunciation, spelling, listening, and writing! PLUS little ads and non-annoying notifications to help you learn while you're on the go (example: johtaja = boss) so it's a pretty dang good app! 9/10 would absolutely recommend!

Very self-directed study, it's more like a phrase book than lessons, but this is still very helpful, and it's fantastic to have the audio and related phrases for individual words.

I see no reason for a learning app to track my location, record audio and share it with third parties or tell me I can never request for those data to be deleted. So, no.
