FREE, WITH OPTIONAL PREMIUM
About 80 percent of the app is free: every lesson and unit test, placement and mixed tests, unlimited review, the full Mistake Notebook, progress charts, the Gender Coach, Dictée, phrasebook and six tenses in the Gym. Free with ads. Short optional videos can unlock a Premium feature for 24 hours.
Premium adds level exams and certificates, the advanced tenses (conditionnel, subjonctif, plus-que-parfait), a study plan with a target date, full insights, backup and restore, timed and weekly tests, streak freeze, accent colours and no ads: $3.99 per month, $39.99 per year or $59.99 one time (lifetime). Prices may vary by country. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in Google Play; lifetime is paid once.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Lessons, tests and search work without an internet connection.
• Your progress stays on your device.
• Listening uses your phone's text-to-speech voice, not recordings of people, and speaking drills do not replace talking with a person.
• The app and the instructions are in English, kept simple. Levels follow the CEFR scale (A1 to C1).

PRIVACY
There is no account and your progress stays on your device. AdMob may use your device advertising ID depending on your consent choices, which you can review in the Me tab. When you use the optional speaking check, your phone's speech recognition service hears you; the app does not record audio. Read the privacy policy in the app or on our website.
