Very useful for absolute beginners. When you are in the very first steps of learning German, pure vocabulary is your best choice. And this app does it well

I have spent a lot of time on another German language app and was not happy with my progress. So far I am very pleased with this one. It's a little more challenging but more thorough. I'm glad I have a small German vocabulary as I think I would have struggled as a total beginner. I intend using this app for a few months and will leave another update. So far....no ads!

Seems very sketchy. After signing up it asked me for permissions. One of them was to manage and access to phone calls. The app won't let you continue without it. Why does it need access to it? Doesn't seem legit. Uninstalling.

Asks for unnecessary permissions. I really don't want a language app to control my phone or access files. Just remove the "features" that you need the permission for. And why can't I use the vocabulary part without giving phone permission when i don't event want to listen to your app?

It was functioning for two days without major issues. On Day 3 (today) it doesn't even start up. After Uninstall and then Install again nothing can be loaded, all courses are 'temporarily unavailable'.
