Potentially useful app, but the aggressive monetization seriously hurts the learning experience. Constant paywalls and restrictions make it difficult to explore and practice without repeatedly being pushed to pay. Developers deserve to be compensated, but an educational app should encourage learning, not make monetization feel like the main focus. This just isn't conducive to a healthy learning experience. I came here to learn Java, not to spend half my time navigating paywalls. 1 star.

It only gives 3 free lessons which teach you almost nothing. Plus they have no other options for the Pro plan than the $169.99 lifetime plan, and they only give you 24 hours to come up with $11.99 for the 95% off anniversary plan. Be warned you must have money to use this app. The Actual lessons themselves are very explanatory and Neurodivergent Friendly, but due to the cost I rate 2/5 stars.

"Wow, I can learn Java!" I said to myself, seeing this app. Then I "learned" how to display something. That's it. The rest was stuck behind advertisements and paywalls. Another bad part was that you weren't able to skip through a lot of the lecturing, during my free experience. I know what a computer is and what a programming language is, and how they work. I wish there was a better way to skip all that and ACTUALLY start programming.
