A good app for Bahama melayu but I think the previous format was much better. The progression in the updated version is much more tedious

For ABSOLUTE beginners or building vocabulary only. Doesn't teach sentence structure or grammar. But for what it does, it's fast and fun. You won't learn the language solely using this app, but it's an excellent supplement for vocabulary building.

As a Malaysian Chinese, I really struggled with bm and this app does help with foundational learning. The new version has a better clean and cute UI which makes it very pleasing to look at while learning. The illustrations do help with memorizing vocals. Some suggestions: Every lesson's vocals are displayed upfront for self-study, if can be combined with the illustrations and make an extra intro class before the 3 stars practice would be great! Love to see more in-depth lessons!

There doesn't seem to be an option to skip progression. I already have a beginner vocabulary and wanted to reinforce that while also learning some of the latter words. However, I'm not going to spend several hours just watching ads and getting to that point. There needs to be an option to jump ahead, because it's not worth the tedium.
