Learn Taiwanese Chinese, Chine

★★★★★ The first impression is they force you to upgrade and keep asking for money. Then I noticed every time I hit a flash card the yellow bar moved forward and once it got to the end it would level you up. App designer should have on the first page and every so often (at least a few reminders)when one starts learning the app a message that states that. What I find interesting is the first level is ㄅㄆㄇㄈ / 注音符號, but when you hit play for the card it gives you pronunciation in pin yin with no ㄅㄆㄇㄈ/注音符號。 This is bad!! Taiwanese learn with 注音符號 and if you teach it have it with the pronunciation as well not just pin yin!! Very surprised by this!! Trying to get past 注音符號 level as I know that already to see if this patern continues. Will rate again once I have had some time on next level. PART 2） So I made to the next level, and they do keep ㄅㄆㄇㄈ/ 注音符號 this made me happy, but should be with level one too. My last suggestions （ as I am up to basic phrases）are to have a quick training orientation to the app like, swipe right to get help and share app, ...etc., and swipe left to see other languages if paid for, and tutorial on how level up works. Also have after the 注音符號/ㄅㄆㄇㄈ lesson is had one more lesson on how to combine 結合注音符號的發音 sounds. Like ㄉㄨㄟˋ most don't know they are kind of like the alphabet and have something like vowels （ AE IOU and sometimes Y）and consonants, but 注音符號 has I think three parts. What really helped me was knowing if a word has 3 phonetic symbols the first symbol is annunciated and the last two are kind of combined. But if only two they equally annunciated with its tone. So some practice puting ㄅㄆㄇㄈ/ 注音符號 together would really help. Also having a recorded native voice (male and female) alternating like pleco upgrade option would really help then the voice offered (maybe part of the purchase part)Keep up the good work and changing my rating to 4 till I have more time in the app. I hope that makes sense and may have not explained it properly.

★★★★★ Minimal ads and common phrases with zhuyin and pinyin. You have to level up for some stuff, which is annoying, but it doesn't take much.

★★☆☆☆ I only can hear voice of word partially on my phone. So I can't learn Taiwanese Language with this app.

★★☆☆☆ Used the app in the past and came back only to find it to be pay to learn which is like a complete waste of time if I wanted to pay to learn I would rather attend classes that r way cheaper than what the app is offering.

★★☆☆☆ So many ads, and I can't jump to greetings right away. Every click wants me to purchase 7 dollars.
