The Meditation Society of Australia is a registered non-profit organisation that has no financial, religious or any other affiliation with any religious groups or faiths. We are the creators of Open Source Meditation, a non-profit, open exploration of all meditation techniques, styles and traditions without any of the obligations or hidden agendas. We do not hide from utilising inspirational quotes from various sources but we are in no way linked.
These extremely popular meditation classes from the Meditation Society of Australia are now an app that feature a variety of meditation techniques including mantra, meditating with the breath and music, concentration and meditation on a object. The wonderful guided meditation audios for each class give you a fantastic aid to your own meditation, and will keep the whole process fresh and new. This is five separate classes on topics as basic as the mechanics of meditation right through to the meaning of life.

Great app please keep improving it! I use it every day. Don't worry about it being religious just take it for what it is, an excellent guided meditation app. It's definitely handing down the best meditation app out there, try it if you don't like it uninstall it.

Was great when I was able to use it. Was instrumental in my journey to calm. No longer works for my newer phone. But the company has created Love Meditation app which works on my phone and is also great.

Not for all phones I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and there isn't a menu button. How am I supposed to get started???

What a cruel joke. To show a cheap still photo of a candle for the Candle meditation is BEYOND ridiculous. The WHOLE point of a candle meditation is to stare into the LIVE FLICKERING FLAME, which induces meditation. Similar to how watching a fireplace relaxes. It is such an easy meditation for beginners, so it's a shame this cheapo app developer didn't give meditators the chance to learn it. Just gave a still photo for you to struggle with that you can't meditate to! Cruel. Please look up candle meditation on YouTube instead x
