My daughter is 3 and has been wanting to read, and we have tried, but I didn't know where to start this app was a big change in use learning to read, and we just started not long ago we do a lesson everyday she asks so them and hates she can only do one a day, but we are on leave 12 and read the first book in the app and starting to use what we have learned in her leave 1 reading books, and it had helped with her writing as she is writing them better in her workbooks best subscription I have used

The update messed up my child's progress. She was supposed to be learning the letter C, which was and is level 22 under both the old and new versions. The update caused her to revert to level 9 and lose books. I reached out to support who gave me a generic, unhelpful response, and said they added levels and some levels changed. Clearly, that's not the issue here. Support takes a long time to respond and is unhelpful. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

I don't mind paying for quality educational software, but I disagree with the subscription model unless it is tied to tangible new content. I'd much rather pay for yearly lesson packs or curriculum expansions that I own forever. Since this app also requires parental involvement, I can just as easily buy physical phonics workbooks, work through them at our own pace, and own them forever. I'd rather pay for new educational content than rent access to existing lessons.

I thought the app was going to let me read out loud and help correct my reading, but instead it was mostly videos and questions. It also needed a parent next to me for some parts, so I didn’t really like it.
