Very good app. You can code and make your own controller in the "Create" tab in the top right corner, or use a premade controller that goes with one of the LEGO Powered Upsets.
★★★★★
Very good app but I wish you could use the gyroscope of the technic hub in the coding menu. Right now you can only access the gyroscope of the boost hub even though the technic hub has a gyroscope.

Great app. Works well and without flaws. I think the following features that don't exist could make this better: 1. Would like Xbox/Bluetooth controller mapping to widget support. 2. Would like built in help for each piece similar to Lego boost app (long hold on piece would bring up a hint about what a particular code block piece does). 3. Ability to save or export code to the cloud.
★★☆☆☆
This app is glitchy. It is only barely capable of controlling the motors and electronics that you can get. Just recently, I tried to reverse the direction that a slider would control a motor by multiplying the widget block by -1, which normally works, but then it just jerked back and forth whenever I told it to move, in fact, it almost broke my build. If you are going to get this app, please note that it will not always be cooperative, and can be quite annoying.

Please include more documentation on what the blocks do. Example - A block in the controller tab shows a component with 4 direction icons (like a cross) with a number input. Is this component used for selecting a hub, or an input control? As a software engineer with 30 years of coding experience I'm unable to figure out what it does. Please put up a simple help page to explain what each block does on your website will be more than sufficient. That way the app doesn't even have to be updated!

Worst app ever. Struggles to connect to the hub and when it does finaly connect you still can't controll the train. Not only that. Can't now reconnects the handset to the train hub so my son can't play with the train at all now. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!!!

I expect better from Lego. The predefined stuff is fine but as an advanced Technic builder - this being the only way to make custom controls for MOC- I'm bitterly disappointed. It's undocumented which is INEXCUSABLE. Half the functions don't work and there's no clue given WHY. Many of the blocks are HIDDEN, including the ones to save calibration positions. Loops are SLOW which makes stuff like steering control horrible. It could be SO good... Sadly it's garbage. Not worthy of the name Lego IMO
