Description

Children’s books in the Ngas language of Plateau State, Nigeria [anc], with English translation at the end of each story. The books were originally produced as part of the Let’s Read Together literacy initiative of SIL Global. Through informal reading clubs, children are able to choose books from a library of attractive titles of different levels of reading difficulty. Individual and group reading encourages confidence in reading and helps to develop a love of reading. This app now makes available digitally the complete library of 36 locally written and illustrated mother tongue books.

Recent changes:
The app has been updated to work with the latest version of Android 16 (API 36) and will work on versions as old as Android 5 (Android 21).
