Android AccessibilityService API disclosure
Letterly Dictation is an optional voice-based input feature that can help users who have difficulty typing on a mobile keyboard, including users with motor impairments or hand-mobility limitations, dictate text directly into other apps such as messages, emails, notes, and documents.
To do this, Letterly uses Android AccessibilityService API to find the text field you are typing in and place your dictated text there.
When you dictate, your audio recording is sent to Letterly servers and transcription/AI service providers to turn your speech into text and create the final result.
Letterly does not use Android AccessibilityService API to read passwords, payment fields, or banking fields, record calls, change your device settings, bypass Android privacy controls, or control your device without your action.
You can turn this feature off anytime in Android Accessibility settings.

Latterly is a great app, I use it for notes, ideas and meetings. I have the lifetime plan (so I don't see any ads) and it runs on my android perfectly. Once I have recorded my note, I can get it to rewrite it with a variety of writing styles from structured bullet point lists to better flow and coherence. Damn this is a good one! Highly recommend.

I purchased Latterly Pro Lifetime and have been happy with it until now. Nothing appears on the screen as it is recording and when I stop it the counter shows 89.00 minutes which I know it's right. It is totally useless now.

I've been an early adopter of this app and previously sang its praises, but twice now it has randomly lost long, important narrations in the process of transcribing them. Just now I used a full 90-minute chunk narrating out a full chapter of a book I'm working on, and all of that effort is just gone. I should have just written it by hand even with my shoulder injury that makes typing difficult. I like the concept of a transcription app, but not if it randomly loses both the audio and content.

DO NOT trust this app to record important conversations. When / if it works... It is truly amazing. Unfortunately that only seems to be about 10% of the time. When it malfunctions you typically lose the entire conversation and customer service can't help you find them. I have learned to use the export audio function, but you must concentrate when you end the conversation because that option only flashes up for a moment and if you don't use it... your entire conversation is gone forever.

Apps to expensive, I like how it works but no free version. I use voice bubble, I've been using for a month, all presets available for free, I literally haven't paid a penny, this app is good but to expensive. Learn a lesson from voice bubble and stop ripping us off.
