Lettermere: Sign Painting

Gran has left you her sign workshop, and the High Street has lost its shine. Take on jobs from the shopkeepers, paint each sign by hand, and hang it back over the door.

Lettermere is a calm planning puzzle about paint and time. Every coat needs to dry before the next one can touch it. Paint over wet enamel and it bleeds; rush the gold leaf and it tears. Each job has a deadline, so the question is always the same: what can I paint while this dries?

HOW IT PLAYS
• Read the customer's brief: the style they want, the fee and the day it's due.
• Sand and prime the board, then paint each part with your finger.
• Watch the WET, TACKY and DRY markers and choose your next step.
• Take a tea break, or call it a day and let the coats dry overnight.
• Add the protective coat, check for defects, and hang the finished sign.
• A clean sign delivered early earns a tip and up to three stars.

WHAT'S IN THE GAME
• Nine sign jobs on one high street: florist, café, bookshop, bakery, ice cream parlour, travel agency, antiques shop, pub and art gallery.
• Five sign styles: hand painted, modern, traditional, gold leaf and vintage.
• Enamel, gold leaf, outlining, distressing and varnish, each with its own drying rules.
• Tools that change your plan: a drying fan, a bench lamp, finer brushes and more.
• Paints, lettering, ornaments and workshop decor to collect with the coins you earn.
• A Sign Book of everything you've finished, and a town that brightens as you work.
• Paint your own: design a sign with your own words, colours and ornaments.
• Biscuit the workshop cat.

MADE TO BE RELAXING
• No energy, no lives and no countdown clocks in real time. The only clock is the workshop's.
• Plays offline. Your progress is saved on your device.
• No account and no sign-in.
• Text size, sound, music and vibration settings, and an optional press-and-hold painting mode.
