Being the 1st network station in Lexington, I still feel it's the best Heck, I'm under 70 yrs. And recall the fire on Russell Cave close to Ironwork (going out from Lexington. Now they'e stll on Russell Cave, but closer to town. My how things change !!! (it's changed ALOT, but it's still my hometown bred, born & raised) wmWas born on the say that Lex. Was chartered from the state of Virginia, that was 1782, 10 yrs. Before KY became a state.

This is my first experience with a Google Play Store app, that based on your app notification settings, promotes a political agenda. The ad revenue paid to the app developer, "The E. W. Scripps Co", is also reflective of the apathy or negligence of Lexington's “LEX 18 News” ownership. This developer also has an additional "57" local & regional TV news apps through Google Play Store. The Trump organization ad, disguised as a poll, was a disappointing surprise from my app download. Refuse the con❗

App is junk. Simple. Was bad before it was updated, but worse now. Get the junk stories for the most part. Using the website is better. My favorite news crew, but this app shouldn't exist.

I have given the new update time with an open mind, but I still like the old one better. Now, with this terrible update and WKT app taking a minute to load each story, there is not a good Lexington News app
