Lexo is a private Android keyboard with offline voice typing and on-device AI suggestions. Dictation and next-word prediction both run on your phone, so they work in airplane mode, with no signal, and with no internet connection needed after setup.
Nothing you type or say leaves the device. No server in the loop for typing or dictation, no account, no tracking, no ads.
Offline voice typing - Speak instead of typing, anywhere a keyboard works - Speech to text runs entirely on-device; no audio is uploaded - Punctuation, capitalization and filler-word cleanup happen on the phone - Works with no internet connection, including airplane mode

First run downloads about 1.2 GB of models over Wi-Fi, once. They stay in the app's private storage, so app updates never re-download them. That download is what it costs to run speech recognition and a language model on the phone instead of in a data center.
Built on the open-source FlorisBoard project, with open-weight models (Qwen2.5 under Apache-2.0, NVIDIA Parakeet under CC-BY-4.0). Lexo is in active development and feedback shapes what comes next.
