Life Calendar - Life in Weeks

Life Calendar — your whole life, one week per square.

Enter your birthday and a life expectancy, and every week from your birth to that horizon opens up as a single grid. Weeks you have lived are filled in. This very week glows. The weeks ahead stay as pale, empty squares. At 90 years that is about 4,680 squares — your entire life, in your hand.

■ Why weeks?
Drawn in years, a life is only about 90 squares — too short and too abstract to feel. Drawn in days it is over 30,000, far too many to take in at a glance. A week sits between the two, and it is the unit we actually plan and remember in.

■ What's inside
· Life grid — week / month / year views. Pinch to zoom in on a single square
· This Week card — one square you are living right now, before the 90-year grid
· One line a day — a single line at the end of the day. A record, not a plan
· Moments — graduation, a first day at work, a wedding: pinned to the grid with a date, icon and colour
· Chapters — paint whole seasons of life, like school years or a first job
· Bucket list — things to do, people to see again, things you do every day
· Life counter — weekends, birthdays and full moons still ahead; heartbeats, breaths and meals so far
· Life expectancy estimate — a few questions to set your own starting point
· Share cards — turn the grid and the numbers into one image to save or share
· Backup / restore — your whole history in a single file

■ The people beside you
"How many more times will I see my parents?" This app counts them. If you meet four times a year, the number left is smaller than you think. It isn't there to frighten you — it's there to change what next weekend is for.

■ Made for you if
· You want to spend your time more deliberately
· You want to see that time is finite, and stay in the present because of it
· You want the big moments of your life kept in one place
· You would rather look back at the path than set another goal

■ What this app does not do
· No account, no sign-in
· Everything stays on your device and is never sent to a server
· Works offline (apart from ads)
· No productivity scores, no streaks, no nagging reminders. A life is not a target to hit

■ Note
The life expectancy figure is an average-based example, not a prediction of your actual lifespan. You can change it any time in settings.
