An education in Faith, works exceptionally well with the Life Essentials Study Bible, the QR codes make it very easy to scan & learn, but you can just use the app to study the principles without having to have the Bible with you. Dr Gene Getz is a really excellent teacher, knowledgeable, humble, & often witty, a really great companion in this journey of faith, and certainly adds valuable context to the text. App is easy to use, the videos can be viewed in order or ad hoc. May God bless You! 🙏

I have the Life Essentials Study Bible, and this seems to be something wonderful and easy that I can listen to while on the fly. Gene has a simple and humble way of getting the message across. One month with my Life Essential Study Bible, and it is a refreshing approach to studying the word. Thank you, Gene, and your team for thinking outside the box, and starting a way of scripture study that I can see becoming common practice in this day and age of IT. I love you, as do all the brethren

This app is very complicated, until now, I even don't know how to use it. Why make people download what they can't use????? Make it simplified.

Description by Lifeway Christian Resources Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.

The Life Essentials Study Bible contains 1,500 principles to live by connected to teaching videos from Gene Getz. This app allows you to scan the QR codes in the Study Bible or select the individual principles for instant access to the 1,500 teaching videos. By using this app, you will be able to save your favorite videos and keep track of which videos you have watched.

The teaching videos from Gene Getz elaborate on 1,500 principles in Scripture that are as relevant today as when the sixty- six books of the Bible were written. Distilling these truths into principles, Getz helps you more easily remember and effectively apply the Bible's wisdom to everyday life. He explains how each of these principles represents a supracultural truth - one that can and should be applied at any moment in history and in every cultural situation.
