I went looking for a substitute for the old Shockwave game FreeNet.swf, and this one fills the bill. In some respects it outdoes the original: the artwork is better, for example. It has some minor gameplay differences, but what I miss the most about the older game is the option to have the board wrap around on all sides, which increased the challenge. (Closed sides are a big head start, acting as a fixed boundary condition on more than 1/3 of the squares.) -1 ★ for that. But still quite addictive
