I tried Liner while working through some research notes for school, and it was helpful for getting quick summaries with sources instead of bouncing between a bunch of tabs. I liked being able to ask follow-up questions when I needed something explained more clearly. It’s not something I’d use to replace my own research, but it’s useful for organizing ideas and getting a starting point when I’m short on time.

non-functional ... no input button. App freezing or extremely lagging... failure to utilize 40 research credits. New credits system seems too constrained (how often are the 100 topped off?). How do I SEND the message/prompt?? Was, kinda, worth the lag before... great research capabilities.

Honestly this app is a good one but of a truth it lags a lot. I also find it difficult to copy a written text that I am typing. Another issue with this app is that it doesn't display the full search on your workspace. Liner AI is superb when it comes to academic and scholarly searches but the developers need to fix the lagging issue and the inability to copy a written text or a text while typing.

This used to be a highlighter app for PDF files. Now, it is an attempt to steal your research for $30+/month... (it used to be free for 2 weeks... on the latest version it's 3 days... then your work is behind a paywall.)
