Stunning & Entertaining Visually stunning and very entertaining. You guess the word and rate yourself (which determines the frequency of its recurrence) while lush cartoons and animations play in the background. The graphics keep things very interesting and entertaining and set this language app ahead of the competition. 750 words are given for free. 600 more cost just one euro! Only criticism is the words taught seem to be pulled randomly from a dictionary. I wish it started with greetings, basic travellers needs etc.

Mostly spam. Smh. You get 500 words to learn. After that the many maNY 'packets' cost 1.50 to NINE DOLLARS. / ALso the 500 you get... are not shown in pinyin but only the character. This is by no means for begginers either. / too bad..ya could have had something. Whats all the MBs for?? Hm.

Words spoken in English even after multiple reinstalls Seems if you use more than one ling ling product on one device, the settings get mixed up. The Chinese version will only speak English for me. No solution found.

Vocabulary is too random Too many words, too fast, introduced in no apparent order. Word introduction should be by usefulness or frequency of usage... random only when testing mastery. I'm not the first to mention this so u should consider this improvement. Uninstalling due these issues. Great graphics, will try again if improved.
