I have read reviews about Ads. But I have had my little elf cameras for just over a year or two. I have not seen an Ad. I find these cameras great for watching my pets while I am at work and for security! The app was easy to set up, and the cameras are pretty great quality. Not to mention is has the option to speak through the camera, control its movement, set up motion tracking. I am really happy with them. With an SD card I don’t need the cloud storage

I really like the latest app update. The 10/5/1 minute selector in the video playback section is great and has made it much easier to locate specific moments in the recordings. It would be nice to have a skip forward/backwards by :30 button as well. The camera has been very reliable since I've had it the past 2 to 3 years. The record to card function is great as well and I like having the options for upgrades should I need them.

Has been giving notifications for camera facing my front door when there isn't anyone at the door at all, after updating today it's still doing the same thing

One of the worst security cameras, the schedule doesn't work, the record when movement doesn't work, and to record continuously you have to keep the app open, so you need a useless device constantly running if u want continuous recording if you don't buy the subscription. I have tried every schedule I can and nothing has worked. Also, there is a delay so if something happens so fast the camera won't catch it unless you're watching it constantly
