Description
This app allows you to place shortcuts on your homescreen for your contact groups (Friends, Family, Coworkers, etc.). Clicking the shortcut will launch a folder showing the contacts in the group. As you add contacts to your groups, or remove them, the folders will always show the contacts currently in the group.
You can choose to have contacts in the groups sorted either alphabetically or by usage, with the most frequently contacted contacts at the top.
When viewing a group, the app also provides a means for you to manage the group, adding contacts to it or removing them from it.
If in the groups list, you see multiple groups with the same name, turn on 'Show group accounts' in the settings. In all likelihood, the duplicate groups come from multiple Gmail accounts, or having the same named groups locally on your phone and also in your Gmail.
The application has been updated so all functionality is there; it no longer requires the key for advanced options.

love this! If you love to be organized, this is the app for you! Groups your contacts exACTly the way you want them.....you must have this!

So far so good. It achieves what I've not been able to do any other way: add a shortcut widget on the home screen to any contact group. 👍 A nice addition would be to be able to select multiple groups at once to mass delete or hide/unhide them quicker. Additionally, things like remembering scroll position in a long list of groups when editing one of them would be good. Also to only view groups from specific accounts at a time when in the app.

Unfortunately did actual damage. I needed to keep one group and delete all others. Doing that disappeared the group name of that only remaining group. I had to recreate the group and add them all back one by one. I also found it inconvenient that the app couldn't stay if i navigated away for a min. If i could have viewed a contact's details within the app then looking away from it for a sec wouldn't have been necessary. ..but if you do, it shuts down.

Froze after simply adding a group. Didn't find most of my groups. Response to Developer Reply: There was no error message - the app simply crashed. I have dozens of groups, which are effectively Google lists of contacts - the groups are visible to my other contact / address book / mailmerge apps, why not Live Groups?
