Live Lyrics: Floating Lyrics

Live Lyrics shows real-time synced lyrics for whatever is playing on your phone. Listen on Spotify, YouTube Music, SoundCloud or almost any other music player, and the lyrics follow the song line by line, right on the screen you are already using. No copying song titles into a search bar, no switching between apps.

🎤 SYNCED LYRICS, LINE BY LINE
• Detects the song that is playing, searches 4 lyrics sources at once and picks the best match
• Karaoke-style highlight on the current line, with the lines before and after
• Lyrics out of sync? Nudge the timing in 0.1-second steps
• Don't like this version? Switch to another one with a tap
• Lyrics are cached, so songs you played recently open almost instantly

🪟 FLOATING LYRICS OVER ANY APP
Keep singing along while you scroll, chat or read:
• Pill style: sits around the camera cutout like a Dynamic Island, scrolls the line, and expands into a lyric card when tapped
• Card style: a floating lyrics window you can drag anywhere, colored to match the album art
• Adjust size, opacity and number of lines; turn on touch pass-through so it never gets in the way
• Toggle it from Quick Settings or by long-pressing the app icon

📱 LYRICS WIDGETS FOR YOUR HOME SCREEN
• Lyrics widget: blurred album art background, vinyl record, dual-language lines and play / pause / skip buttons
• Vinyl widget: the record spins smoothly while music plays and stops when you pause

🔒 LOCK SCREEN LYRICS AND NOTIFICATION
• The current line appears in your notification shade and updates with the music
• Tap the notification for full-screen lyrics right on the lock screen, no unlocking needed

🌏 TRANSLATE LYRICS, READ THEM SIDE BY SIDE
• Many songs come with a translation from the lyrics source, matched line by line
• On-device lyrics translation: download a language pack once over Wi-Fi, then translate offline
• Understand K-pop, J-pop and C-pop songs, and learn a language through the music you love

🎨 COLORS FROM THE ALBUM ART
• The background adapts to each song's album cover
• Choose album art, vinyl or a minimal look
• Adjust text size, alignment and background opacity

⭐ SAVE YOUR FAVORITE LINES
• Bookmark the lines that hit you and find them in the Saved tab
• Open one to see the whole song with your line already highlighted

🛡️ PRIVATE AND TRANSPARENT
• No ads, no account required
• Notification access is used only to know what is playing; Live Lyrics never reads your messages or notification content
• To look up lyrics, the app sends only the song title, artist, album and length

🎧 START IN 30 SECONDS
1. Open Live Lyrics and grant notification access (plus "display over other apps" if you want floating lyrics)
2. Play music in your favorite app
3. Lyrics appear on their own: in the app, on the widget, in the notification, on the lock screen and in the floating window

Note: an internet connection is needed to find lyrics the first time, and not every song has synced lyrics.

Live Lyrics is an independent app and is not affiliated with Spotify, YouTube Music or SoundCloud. App names are used only to describe compatibility.
