Live Traffic NSW provides you with real-time information about unplanned and planned incidents that affect your trips in NSW and across borders into QLD, SA, VIC and ACT.
Features include: - Incident information for Sydney and Regional NSW including crashes, breakdowns, fires, floods, snow, public events and roadworks. - Strategically located traffic camera images updated every 60 seconds, which you can save for quick access. - Ability to check for incidents along a route and save your frequently travelled trips. - Cross-border incident information from QLD, SA, VIC and ACT. - Location of fires from NSW Rural Fire Service. - Local road information in Northern NSW (supplied by myroadinfo.com.au).

Live Traffic NSW is owned and operated by the Transport Management Centre (TMC) which monitors and manages the 18,000km NSW State road network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The TMC uses advanced monitoring, communication and traffic management systems to respond to and clear traffic incidents as quickly as possible, improve consistency of journey times, and provide customers with quality up-to-date information.
This app also uses data from interstate road agencies (QLD, SA, VIC and ACT), NSW Rural Fire Service, and Northern NSW local roads (myroadinfo.com.au).

Just curious if I'm the only user of the live traffic NSW app facing technical issues over the last week or so. I used to receive notifications of incidents on my saved trips, and I haven't been receiving notifications. I then uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, I can no longer set up trip alerts or follow incidents "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again." app Version 2.10.7 os Android15 device Motorola Razr 50 ultra. Now fixed Friday morning 28th nov

This app provides the current status as to wether the Audley Weir is flooded in real time visual camera footage which is vital to the communities of Bundeena, Malabar and other park community's, who must plan there traveling time in relation to wether the Weir is flooded or not during wet weather.

21/03/2026 Again having to use an app that is constantly inaccurate. They mark traffic incidents that are over in an hour or even minutes... and then leave them up for days. Don't blame Google Maps for this. They update incidents. 10/11/2022 Wish I could give it a Zero. It was a good app for many years but has gone downhill to the point of being completely unusable. Shockingly inaccurate data when it does work. Mostly it stalls and is impossible to get any information out of it. Uninstalled!

With the floods in my area I needed to rely on this app. But guess what, it's not live at all. Roads ate still marked closed that have been opened for days.
