LiveATC for Android provides a quick and easy way to listen in on live conversations between pilots and air traffic controllers near many airports around the world. LiveATC for Android lets you browse by U.S. state or by country to find an airport and listen in to live air traffic conversations at or near a given airport. You can also use the "Nearby" feature to find an airport near you. You can then add any channel to your Favorites list for quick and easy access.
The LiveATC Network (http://liveatc.net) is the world's largest network of streaming audio feeds focused solely on aviation, currently covering over 1,200 airports around the world with over 2,000 different audio feeds and growing daily!
Explanation of some of the needed device permissions:
• The "Location" permission is required so that the app can determine what airports are located in your area when you select "Nearby"
• The "Device ID & Call Information" permission is needed by the app so that it can detect when you're placing or receiving a phone call so that it can automatically stop the audio stream to prevent it from interfering with your phone call

I used to listen to another type of ATC, didn't have the same airports to listen to. I can see planes fly over, I can track them on a flight tracker and put in the destination airport, them listen here. Would like to have Little Rock Clinton National Airport (KLIT) to the list of airports in Arkansas. Would also like to see the Pacific HF Oceanic Channels. Listening to Oshkosh (KOSH) for the arriving aircraft for their airshow and watching them on flightradar24.

UX does not look correct in tablets or in wide devices. I have a Samsung Tab A9+. It's usually in landscape mode. When I open Live ATC and tap on Diagram or on WX Radar, a pop-up window shows up but only the header of the window is visible at the bottom of the screen. If I try doing the device with tge device rotated to portrait mode, I can only half of the pop-up window now. The only workaround I have is to vertically split the screen with another app, and the window is now visible, but tiny.

Downloaded paid version. There are 5 airports within 25 nm of me only one of which it found. I have an airport 2 miles from me. Visible from my backyard. Not listed. Refund.

This app is borderline unusable. The feed randomly restarts or doesn't start at all. If you switch apps, the feed stops. If you lock your screen, the feed stops.

I had purchased this app to listen to the atc of my home city airport OPLA. And OPLA isn't available on this app. Really disappointed.

Cool but don't waste your money. Just use the website. I like to watch flight radar while listening to ATC but for some reason the app stops playing when you go to another tab. :/
