livetain

You only see what you already know. The enchanted alley just around the corner. The spectacular view a few hundred meters further on. The hidden estate with its magnificent terrace. The garden with the little shop you visited on holiday two years ago — the name long forgotten. You’ve saved all these places. But no one tells you when you’re passing them by.

livetain changes that. livetain is your personal, smart travel guide for your pocket:

• 70+ collections for cities & regions — and more to come
• Save, edit and share your own places & collections on a map
• Lock-screen reminder as soon as you’re nearby
• Set the reminder distance yourself
• Overview map with all places
• Mark favorites
• Direct link to your navigation app
• Create places worldwide

Over 70 carefully curated collections
Dresden, Munich, Karlovy Vary, Vienna, Lucerne, Monaco, Rome, Florence and many more cities. Plus day-trip destinations and sights. Each collection brings selected places with photos, descriptions, links and a map. Download once, turn on monitoring — livetain sends a ping to your lock screen when you’re nearby.

Add places of your own
Love discovering things yourself? Save the spot you’re at right now or drop a pin on the map. Take a photo, give it a name and note why it matters to you. Save it in your collection and share it with friends.

Remember the places that matter
Turn on the reminder bell and livetain keeps an eye on your favorite spot. Come near it and a notification appears on your lock screen. Tap it to open all the saved details. Your navigation app then takes over the route.

You decide
On foot, by bike, car or motorcycle: choose a distance between 10 meters and 50 kilometers, and livetain reminds you in time. Don’t need a reminder? Just switch it off.

Before the trip
Save what you want to see while you’re still at home. On the road, livetain gets in touch by itself. What matters to you deserves more than a note on a list. It works just as well on holiday as on a weekend outing.

Your places, on every device
New phone or second device: create an account and take your personal places and notes with you everywhere. Prefer not to? livetain also works without an account. And if you no longer need it, simply delete your account again.
