Description

Local Notes is a simple, private notepad for capturing ideas, reminders, lists, and everyday thoughts.
Create notes quickly using typed text or voice dictation. Add titles, descriptions, tags, pinned notes, and image attachments to keep everything organized and easy to find.
Features:
• Create, edit, duplicate, copy, and share notes
• Use voice dictation for hands-free note-taking
• Dictate in English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, or Punjabi
• Attach up to 8 images to a note
• Add tags and filter notes by tag
• Search note titles, descriptions, and tags
• Sort notes by newest or oldest
• Pin important notes for quick access
• Move notes to Trash and restore them later
• Permanently delete individual notes or clear the entire Trash
• Automatically save note edits after a short pause
• Choose light or dark appearance
• Adjust the text size for comfortable reading
• Export notes as a JSON backup file
• Import Local Notes backups while keeping your existing notes
Privacy-focused by design:
Your notes, titles, tags, attachments, voice transcripts, and profile name are stored locally on your device. Local Notes does not upload your note content to a Local Notes server, and no account is required.
Backups are created or imported only when you explicitly choose to do so. Ads may use third-party ad services, which can process device, network, and ad-interaction information according to their own policies. Your note content, attachments, and voice transcripts are not included in ad requests.
Microphone access is requested only when you use voice dictation. Image access is used only when you choose to attach images to notes.
Important: Deleting or reinstalling the app may remove notes stored on your device. Export a backup regularly if your notes are important.
