LocalShare: WiFi File Transfer

LocalShare helps you send files to nearby devices over a local network. Share content without uploading it to cloud storage or using mobile data for the transfer.

Choose what to send
Select photos, videos, music, documents or folders. Share multiple items together when you need to move more than one file.

Connect and follow progress
Use nearby device discovery, choose the receiving device and follow the transfer status. Keep both devices connected while the transfer completes.

Useful for everyday sharing
Move videos between nearby phones, pass documents to a colleague or share files in a classroom using a local Wi-Fi connection.

File transfers do not require internet access. Both devices must meet the app's connection requirements. Transfer speed and completion time depend on the network, devices and files involved.

Use compatible receiving devices and confirm that the intended recipient is selected before sending.
