Works perfect , those who rating 1 star and saying it's not opening you need a rooted device for it to work , it's mentioned in the tittle. You might find other apps that will turn screen black and lock etc , that works without root ,but they would have a efeect on battery. Edit: apparently the dev itself has linked alternative apps for non root users making use of admin permission, that method won't have any performance impact as far I know.
