Comments on LockMyPix Safe Photo Vault for Android

UPDATE: LockMyPix responded and has fixed the issues for now. Happy. I've had this app for a few years & thought it was ok. But it doesn't let me delete anything. It puts the item in trash but duplicates that same item back where it started. WTH? But WORSE, I can't get into a help desk. I clicked on it & I got some weird message. I need help with this app! My husband downloaded it recently & it seems like now it wants a 6 code passcode, but I'm from the 4 # passcode days.

This app is useful app secret photo we need hide we need lock the album sometimes mother said unlock the album then seen secret photo by this app parents didn't open this app we can keep our secret photo safed

★★★★☆ Ty Kells · Jul 5, 2026

This is an update from a previous review. The customer service when I had issues last time brought up here was great. Over all, I am enjoying the new version, but I have one complaint with a suggestion. The new video player retains all the features of the previous video player which is great. That said, it doesn't have the touch responsiveness like the old one did. Would it be possible in a newer update to give access to the previous player?

This app used to be good. Apparently now they have moved to the scammer "pay forever" model that everyone hates. Guess I'm looking for a new app

★☆☆☆☆ Sepp Hauser · Aug 6, 2026

This App does not securely protect your files. The filenames are encrypted with a key that can be read from the installation files. And the encryption is implemented weakly, if you have an encrypted file and the unencrypted version you can decrypt the whole vault. It took my AI about 25 minutes to find that out. So if you want to actually keep your files save, this is absolutely the wrong tool.

★★☆☆☆ Paul Jordan · Jun 11, 2026

For the second time, all my encrypted notes have been deleted from the app. Obviously not happy hence the 2-star review.

★☆☆☆☆ Justin Ralston · May 29, 2026

Tells me my password is wrong. I recover my password to then be told that password is wrong. I'm 100% locked out, and no way back in.
