I am an ex-iPhone user and missed the highlighted word dictionary lookup when I moved to Android two years ago. This app, Look Up Pro, is the perfect equivalent to that iPhone feature. The setup process is a bit tedious with controls for background running of the app (which is fine to leave off), and a large selection of dictionaries. I would prefer to see an option to set "sensible defaults". The free version of Look Up is good, but if it works for you, pay for the full version to stop ads.

It's kinda annoying how the order of the dictionaries will reset after some time of not using the app. I wanted to put Livia dictionary first followed by Wikipedia followed by the default dictionaries, but it resets the order 💀 also I've noticed that when I use Readera and use Lookup, a new screen will open, and it's the bottom popup BUT with an opaque background? And then when I close the app and try again, it'll show that bottom popup overlay successfully. Just a minor inconvenience I guess.

Is it possible to integrate chat gpt into the app as a plugin? That would be great as the AI model gives better answers than other plugins and will help me to better understand the word I am looking up. If not, then no worries, it's a great application anyway.

One issue I’m experiencing is that the app keeps resetting the order of dictionary plugins and re-enables the ones I’ve disabled. It’s frustrating to have to reorganize everything the way I like it every time I look up a word. Please fix this issue—once it’s resolved, I’ll be happy to give the app a 5-star rating.

The lookup function after selecting words works fine. Unfortunately if you want to do manual search in the app, the search bar doesn't always work.

🛑 Fix IT Please !!!!! Application doesn't keep the selected order of dictionaries. It changes every time upon opening the app. Very annoying and making it hard to use. Kindly fix it.
