Loveknot

Loveknot hangs a locket from a rope on your screen. The rope is a real physics simulation, not a looping animation — seven segments with proper constraints, so the locket swings, stretches and settles the way a cord actually would. Drag it aside and let go and it whips back, carrying the momentum of your hand.

PAIR WITH ONE PERSON

Link two phones with a six-digit code. After that, pull your locket down and let go: their locket swings, wherever they are. The strength comes from how far you pulled, the direction from which side. It is a small, wordless way of saying you were thinking of them.

Either of you can also change what hangs on the other's rope — a "Good night" sticker before bed, "Miss you" in the middle of the afternoon. There is an undo for when they surprise you.

CHOOSE YOUR LOCKET

Nineteen bundled lockets: a heart, and eighteen die-cut message stickers — Good night, Good morning, Miss you, Miss your face, Sorry, Forgive me, Hugs, Kiss, Love you, Need you, Sleep tight, Take care, Thank you, Thinking of you, Come here, Come back, Forever us and I'm here. Or hang an emoji from a palette chosen for what one person sends another.

The picker is a sheet on the home screen rather than a settings page, so what you pick swaps the locket you are looking at, live.

LET IT FLOAT

Put the locket over your other apps and it hangs there while you work. Touches pass straight through to whatever is underneath — only the locket itself catches your finger, so nothing you use gets blocked. A triple tap puts it away.

MAKE IT YOURS

Rope length, locket size, stretch and opacity are sliders that feed the running simulation, so the rope eases to a new length under your finger instead of restarting. Light and dark themes, following your phone or set by hand.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account. No sign-in. No ads. Your settings, your chosen locket and any photo stay on your phone. Swings and locket changes are end-to-end encrypted — the relay that carries them cannot read them. Pairing is entirely optional, and until you use it the app sends nothing at all.

PERMISSIONS
