Lucid Launcher 2 was developed because I had ideas that might not be work with the way people are used to using Lucid Launcher original. For example, we introduced the taskbar in this version. I wanted to add big and more creative edits.

Lucid Launcher 2 is a lightweight, fully customizable Android home screen launcher built for speed and total personalization.

Lightning Fast
Zero bloat, minimal resource usage, no ads. Snappy performance.

Multi-Page Home Screen
Unlimited pages — home screens, app drawer, and widget pages — a single swipe.
Independent portrait and landscape grid layouts (2–20 columns and rows) with optional snap-to-grid. Long-press any icon to move, resize, remove it or add a gesture to the icon.

App Drawer
Instantly search apps, contacts, and the web. Sort by name, install date, most used, or recently used. Navigate large lists with a fast scroll bar.

Customizable Taskbar
Floating dock that shows recent apps, your favorites, or most-used apps. Scrollable, collapsible, and customizable.

Sidebar
Swipe from the left edge to reveal a quick-access favorites panel that is fully customizable.

Gestures & Icon Gestures
Assign actions to swipe up, down, left, right, and double-tap on the home screen. Open quick settings, lock the screen, toggle the sidebar, expand the status bar, and more.

Accessibility Service: used in order to use the Recent Apps Shortcut/Gesture to open the System Recents Screen. No data is collected
Device Administrator: used for the purpose of setting up gestures or a shortcut to lock the screen
Contacts: this permission is used for the purpose to allow for searching contacts when enabled. Contacts Permission is also used for contact shortcuts
Phone: this permission allows direct dial shortcuts to work
Photos/Media/Files:Allow for the ability to create/overwrite backups from advanced settings
Notification Access: Unread Count can be enabled in order to get the number of new notifications to display
Other: permissions in this category allow for the app to control vibration for long presses, and to expand/collapse the status bar for the use of certain gestures/shortcuts etc

It's amazing... add weather to the built-in and very useful 'board' on the home screen with a Little tiny on demand refresh, and I could NOT think of a single thing else I would need or want however I know Mike and his team will! ... The best launches on the play store or online without question and by ALLOT!... maybe a hold to drop the shade for an icon with a flag notification just as tap opens it as in, the apks on the island! The Island is going to be something EXTRa Genius and Useful!..

It would be perfect except you can't pick colors correctly... you tap color on the dark part, and it shows white or a different color all together edit, colors have been corrected except color pallets! 🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♀️
