Everything you know about Ludo still holds. What changes is how much of the outcome you control.

Ludo Saga keeps the board you grew up with — four colours, four tokens, the long race home — and adds a layer of decisions on top. Play a card at the right moment and a bad roll stops being the end of your turn.

▬▬▬ POWER CARDS ▬▬▬

Land on a rune tile and draw a card. One card per turn, and every one of them moves tokens rather than touching the dice:

• AEGIS — guard a token so it cannot be captured
• USURP — trade places with any rival token out on the track
• SURGE — your next roll counts twice
• PORTCULLIS — seal a lane for a full round

Turn Power Cards off and you have pure, classic Ludo. Turn them on and you have a game about timing.

Six kingdoms. Eighteen encounters. Six bosses who do not cheat the dice — they bend the board itself.

The Thornwarden lets bramble grow across four squares that send your token straight home. Cinderjack turns four lengths of track back on themselves. The Rime Duke freezes the star squares so nowhere is safe. The Usurper brings all of it at once.

Every twist is explained before the match starts. You will lose to these boards. You will not be surprised by them.

• EASY wanders, and only sometimes takes a capture it is handed
• MEDIUM takes every capture and always races a token home
• HARD weighs risk, avoids traps, and will use cards against you

• Plays completely offline — the rules never need a connection
