An Arabic-English dictionary for Classical Arabic (MSA) and dialects including Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi, Iraqi, Gulf, Yemeni, and Sudanese dialects. The dictionary features over 200,000 definitions and example phrases. Also, it allows users to search by Arabic root, Arabic word, English word, example, or phrase. Users can select multiple dialects to search in simultaneously. The dictionary also features the ability for users to save favorite searches, save words to custom flashcard lists so they can test themselves, and the ability to customize the font size in the display. The dictionary is constantly updated with new data.

App is very nice, but I would really appreciate if it had offline dictionaries instead of always having to connect to internet to search for a word. Also, I think it would be useful to have an English-Arabic dictionary within the app. Other than these it's fine :)

Having spent nearly a year on MSA (standard Arabic) I wanted to get started on the dialect learning. There were not any resources as far as dictionary in dialects in concerned. I found this app and website extremely, extremely helpful. Here not only the word meanings are given but in detail all the use cases, proverbs etc. are given nicely. Thumbs up all the way !!!

It's mentioned in the play store that you don't collect any private data etc. After downloading, it asks to read the privacy policies which states to collect many things, and even you may change the terms and conditions and do anything. So it's an inappropriate way. It's nothing but cheating the users.

This app makes no sense. Type in "dog" and you get no correct translation. Type in "كلب" and you get "dog" but it's like the 6th translation down the list?

No, no no, no! It was the best dictionary, easy to navigate and to use. Now, the rare times in which it doesn't crash, it takes too long to get to the right word....
