Description by Eweron Labs(from Google Play)
Your movement becomes the cursor.
Lume turns gentle movements of your phone or tablet into an on-screen cursor, like a mouse for Android. Tilt your device to point and press a volume button to click.
Designed as an accessibility tool for people with tremors, limited dexterity, reduced reach, or other motor challenges, Lume offers settings for different ways of holding and moving your device.
Use your phone with one hand
Motion control can help you reach buttons in the corners and at the top of the screen, reducing the need to stretch your thumb or touch small targets directly. On phones with a broken screen, the cursor may also help you click where touch no longer works, provided the display is still visible and Lume is already configured and authorized. Guided setup introduces the controls and helps you find comfortable settings.
Free features
• Move the cursor over other apps. • Click with one volume button and reposition your hand with the other. • Scroll up, down, left, and right using menu shortcuts. • Move the shortcut bar to a comfortable position on the screen. • Center, pause, resume, or turn off the cursor. • Adjust sensitivity, smoothing, and tremor tolerance. • Calibrate the controls for your comfortable range of motion. • Adjust the pointer size and outline thickness.
Lume Pro: optional features
Pro is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription. It adds:
• Continuous dragging while you hold a volume button. • A floating click button, dwell clicking, and zoom gestures. • Customization of the menu, volume buttons, cursor shape, colors, and trail. • A separate outline color setting and optional orientation control. • Screenshots from the menu, available on Android 9 or later.
Accelerometer and gyroscope
Lume uses your device's built-in sensors. A gyroscope is recommended; without one, a tilt mode uses the gravity sensor or accelerometer. Cursor response depends on the sensors and your chosen settings.
Privacy and accessibility
No camera or Lume account is required. Motion data, calibration, and cursor preferences are processed on your device. Lume does not read screen content, typed text, passwords, photos, contacts, or your location.
The Android Accessibility service, enabled by you, displays the cursor and performs the actions you request. It cannot retrieve window content. When you request a screenshot, Android takes it; Lume does not receive the image. Google Play handles purchases and Pro license verification.
Requirements: Android 8.0 or later, an accelerometer, and manual activation of the Accessibility service.
Recent changes: First public release of Lume: Motion Cursor. Motion-controlled cursor, clicks with a volume button, scrolling in four directions, calibration, and movement and appearance settings. Additional Lume Pro features are available through a one-time purchase.
