A light meter is a device used to measure the amount of light. In photography, lux meter is often used to determine the proper exposure for a photograph. You could also use it to adjust the room light to a reasonable level to get a better sleep or check the sunlight condition during different periods of time. To be used in photography, scenic design or whatever you want!
Note: 1. This application uses your device's light sensor. Most probably the sensor is installed near to the front camera. If your device doesn't have light sensor, you may not use this application. 2. Be aware that the accuracy of the light sensor vary between different devices and values shown in this application are indicative.

★★☆☆☆
Seriously? The sensor on my phone (a relatively inexpensive Moto-G4) has a range of 0 - 65,535 lux: the graphically stylish analog meter in the app can display a maximum of 18,000 and if there's a way to change the range, it's exceptionally well hidden! The ads are hideously intrusive (as are most) and there's nothing to induce me to upgrade. But I did just buy the "pro" version of the app I used to discover my phone sensor's range. If you just need the numerical value, it seriously outperforms this app.
