Update : 2 years later and this product is still running perfect with no issues . Best thermostat I ever owned, and I had a few . Is finally updated and fixed. Works flawless now . Glad I hung in there ... I have both Lux GEO and Nest. Geo by far. Love it now.

I've been using this App with the Lux Geo thermostats for 3 years now. Have not had any issues with the APP or thermostats. I have to run the thermostats off battery since I don't have a C wire available. The only issue I have is that I'm supposed to get messages when the batteries are getting low. The messages are sporadic at best, sometimes they come, sometimes they don't. I have not had any of the issues other people are complaining about. 90% of those issues are probably user caused.

If I could take away stars, I would. But I can't, so you get a 1. When you go to connect the thermostat to a network it only shows the first result, which is almost never your network. It's 100% unusable garbage and why Johnson Controls thinks they have any business making thermostats or software is beyond me. This is on a Pixel 6 Pro so if it doesn't work on my phone it doesn't work on anyone's phone. Google needs to remove this garbage from its store, it does not meet standards.

Worst product. Keeps losing connection for no reason. Reconnecting is not successful. Often changes temp on its own. Sometimes does not display the right date and time, so then the schedule doesn't work.

Junk. The lux geo thermostat will provide some features if not connected to the internet. It's useless when paired with this app.
