LYRA: Synced Lyrics Player

Play the MP3 and FLAC files already on your phone and LYRA finds synced lyrics for them by itself, then flows them line by line in perfect time. A local music player where the lyrics take center stage.

■ Lyrics that find themselves
LYRA checks a .lrc file beside the song, the lyrics embedded in its tags, and the open LRCLIB lyrics database, then picks the best synced match. Not happy with it? Search yourself, pick another, or edit the text. Lyrics you chose are never overwritten automatically. If the timing feels early or late, nudge the sync offset up to 10 seconds per song.

■ Translation and pronunciation, free and on device
Japanese lyrics get Korean-script readings, Chinese gets tone-marked pinyin or Korean script, and English gets a phonetic transliteration. Foreign lyrics can be translated and shown under each line. Everything runs on your device with no server or key. Turn on only what you need.

■ Floating lyrics over other apps
Keep the current line on screen while you navigate, drive or work. Resize it, move it, and choose what the second line shows: the next line, a translation or the pronunciation.

■ Loop the part you love
Long-press a lyric line to repeat it, long-press another to stretch the section. Perfect for singing along, language listening practice and learning a part by ear. LYRA even counts the repeats.

■ Shape your sound
10-band equalizer, playback speed control, and a sleep timer that fades out gently, either at a set time or at the end of the song. Organize with playlists and favorites.

■ A dark stage, or a bright one
A dark theme that tints softly with album art, and a clean light theme. Control playback from the lock screen, the notification shade and Bluetooth remotes.

■ Your data stays on your device
No sign-up, no login. Your library index, lyric cache and settings live only on your phone. When searching for lyrics, only the title, artist, album and length are sent to the lyrics database, and a "Wi-Fi only" setting can limit this to Wi-Fi. LYRA is free and includes ads (Google AdMob), which you can remove with an optional one-time purchase (Remove ads).

Available in English, Korean and Japanese. Requires Android 8.0 or later.
