Description
Lyric Search is a web browser used to search for lyrics, tab and chord charts from online sources.
It has been designed as a companion app for Lyric Pad. and can output retrieved data as simple plain text files or as plain text files with Lyric Pad 2 formatting.
Features of Lyric Search include: - automatic search for song duration data - integration into lyric pad 2 - automatic detection of current lyric pad 2 lyrics folder (for save location) - template database that can be updated from server - ability to set lp2 font options during file creation
The primary function of this app is to create Lyric Files for use in Lyric Pad from online data sources. It searches for online data and formats it into a Lyric Pad formatted file and allows the user to save directly into Lyric Pad.

Lyrics and chords appear, but there isn't a save button? Also wondering about transposing - is there a transpose function or do I just change the chords in editing? Can I copy my own chord/lyric documents in from a folder in my laptop? I do have Lyric Pad installed, only just taking my very first tentative steps in using it.

I have been Using Lyric pad and search for updating my song list when I'm playing with the band. Very easy to use and maintain. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for this type of app. I have it on my computer at home and my tablet. The search is very quick and concise giving numerous options to download. I use Metrolink the most and have had really good results. For any singer in a bad, Karaoke singer or someone who just likes to sing this is a great tool to keep you online with the proper lyrics. I'm still adding to my list constantly. The set list is also a great added feature.
