You need AndFTP free installed. Features in Pro version are SCP support, folder synchronization, custom commands and import settings from file.
Pro version acts as an unlock key, it does not have any icon and you cannot open it. Once installed it unlocks all features of the free application. You can check it by running the free application, then Menu->Options->Advanced and you should see "License: Pro".

Support the Dev. Buy pro! And FTP is still the best go-to for droid ftp, I usually use termux but when I need something quick And FTP works well... I wish you would put the code on GitHub for paid subscribers though.

Installed the app, no app icon anywhere. Reboot device, removed app and installed again, same thing. Back to the free version I go... -update: after info from the developer (Pro version is just a key/license and needs the "free" version installed to work), I stand corrected. I have re-purchased the Pro version and now have an ad-free FTP client (with the option to switch between active and passive mode, which is a requirement for me).

Worked great for years. Now program icon has disappeared, but says program is still installed. No way to launch program!! Samsung S9+.

Although this has an outdated UI it works well as a ftp client, and it used to be my go-to ftp app. Unfortunately it doesn't support session resumption for FTP over TLS, which is required if you use FileZilla Server v1.0.1 for security reasons. If you use FileZilla Server v1.0.1 you will need to use another app Total Commander (checking box "SSL encrypt") as AndFTPPro won't connect to FileZilla Server. Hopefully this app will be updated to fix this issue.

Three years after the report we still don't get to choose (or even know) if the file will resume (good) or overwrite (bad) before the download continues. "Allow resume" should mean "allow resume" not "allow resume or overwrite at our discretion".
