I've been with M1 since 2022. I love the platform. The autorebalancing feature and the dynamic rebalancing is so underrated. Allowing you to stay on target allocation. This platform is not for day traders. It's designed around long-term investing. Keeping an asset allocation based on your risk tolerance is very important. M1 Finance allows you to stay within your allocation thus maintaining your intended risk levels. I've recommended over 10 users to this platform. Thank you and never change!

Don't hear about it much in the news, but I've been using for about 5-7 years with no problem and steady growth in my investments. I use it as the account I don't manipulate much. I just regularly deposit each week to a small but diverse portfolio.

I used this app in the past before, I left, then I came back, because I realized this app was unique and actually worked for me and my investing needs. I absolutely love this app, creating pies etc. It takes a bit to get used to creating the pies and how you want them but once you figure it out it becomes a fun task. I highly recommend this app, and I think it's also great for beginner investors.

Sometimes confusing, but fundamentally a good system for long term, passive, high-commitment investors who will ignore daily noise. Worst possible platform for "traders" who rely on intraday activity, which they're pretty upfront about. The pie system makes automated investing easy and dividends are handled well. Only being able to borrow 25% margin via cash is disappointing - if a security is marginable at a certain percentage, treating buying power and borrowing power differently seems wrong

Atrocious. Used to be such a great app, now it is useless. I logged in for the first time in a long time to check on things only to find out there's now a platform fee?! And I was NOT notified. And they've been taking it out of MY investments! I am canceling everything & closing my account. I can't even buy/sell shares from the app anymore. Hot garbage.

I absolutely hate this app, for over 6 months now I have continually tried to sell stocks to make new trades. I have contacted support many times, and they never get the issue resolved. More recently I have instructed to sell all my accounts and give me my money back. This app is a scam, and I recommend that nobody trust them!

Added a $3 monthly fee in 2024. I did not realize this. No mail was sent. No refund available. I have now closed my account. I had my money in the account for years with no fee.
