Magic Dos box is definitely better than the standard DOS Box emulator. It’s very easy to understand and use, making it a great way to experience MS-DOS games on Android and Android TV. It also has an impressive game cover library, which makes browsing and organizing games much nicer. In addition, it supports Android handheld controller remapping for games. wow 👌👍 I hope the developers will expand it in the future to support more platforms, such as Linux, Nintendo, and Xbox as soon possible.

As a beginner, using a DOS emulator is a little more complicated than a console emulator. Even more complicated is the task of adapting a keyboard & mouse game to touchscreen controls, especially if it's a game I've never played before! Magic Dos Box has guides that helped me set up the game I wanted to play. They also have a forum where people share their touchscreen profiles for various games. With this help I was able to play Blood on my phone easily.

Can't play games after update, folder location doesn't exist, cannot find/search for games, can't search directories after update. Playing on android. Update rendered app useless.

Don't bother, stick with Retroarch. This emulator is not worth the hassle.

Bruno, You're app is amazing, but this last update took away the ability to load states! I'm on an Android phone and switched the appropriate games to use SVN 4180. It appears to save the state but will NOT load it. Please help!!!

What happened on this last update? I've used this for years on my Chromebook to write & run GW-BASIC programs. Loved it! But now, it no longer works, wanting me to choose a path, and when I do, it says it can't go there. Wha' hoppen?
