This is a great app and very useful especially when you are in the back seat and would want to control infotainment system and AC controls. However, this app is not compatible with all phones. Last year I had this installed on Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus and worked great. Now I tried it on different phones but could not pair it with the Infotainment system no matter what I did. I tried reinstalling it many times but couldn't make it work. None of the troubleshooting guides helped, looked at all YouTube videos but was very disappointed that it didn't work on my other Samsung phones and the newest oneplus 5. Finally, found a simple fix. There is a similar app called 'NEW BLUE SENSE - XUV500', very similar app with 10,000+ downloads and has a slightly different home page with the orange XUV. I downloaded that and voilà...it worked perfect. So, try it out if you are facing any issues with this.

Does Not Connect to 2016 w8. No support from Mahindra South Africa. I'm actually getting more and more disappointed with the lack of support in South Africa regarding the infotainment system on the Xuv500. And apps like this one claim to connect.
