Good job with all the chess engines. I like the human-like mistakes option. However, UI can be improved. The pieces do not look nice, and there is no way to change their look. There are some additional UI improvements that can be helpful.

The theme is terrible. I can hardly distinguish the pieces and the only thing that can change is the color. It is quite simple to add a more classic theme. Also, there are no global options like sound theme etc., and the opening delay of buttons is unnecessary. The move history is not shown well, there is no way to share pgn and fen The app lacks UX design.

Just not a very good chess engine, not even convinced it's actually maia. Moves are mostly random even at high difficulty ratings.
★★☆☆☆Andrew· Apr 26, 2026
Moving pieces outside what stock fish expects me to, means that when I play and an irregular move, stock fish will have an extra move on the white side because it expects that to happen. The machines are really weak and are not helpful even the premium ones

Probably a virus, doesn't actually use any legit chess engines and is 3gb on device.
