MAME4droid 2024 (0.269)

★★★★★ Thank you for fixing the joystick issues. On my pc version of MAME, you had function of both sticks on the controller. Games like Robotron 2084 did not work on MAME4DROID before this 2024 version.

★★★★★ Aha! Software goes under Download/rom/software ! Works great. Can you put the UI toggle someplace? Getting a keyboard with the Scroll Lock key is hard. The Hacker's keyboard had this and it works.

★★☆☆☆ Can't access rom folder anymore. Since the March 2024 update you can't access the rom folder to add or remove any roms which kinda makes the whole thing unfortunately useless. Need to be able to choose a different rom folder outside the main android/data structure. Until then....

★★☆☆☆ This new update is way worse, my Roms from the original mame app doesn't work on this new mame update. Well some roms work, but the others don't, only 18 roms work and I have 135 roms currently on my enternal storage and some of them don't even work, but the original mame4droid works for all of my 135 Roms.

★★☆☆☆ The older version was better it could run killer instinct 1 and two with zero problems. This version and your newer version on GitHub will run them. But super slow and suffer from sound problems. I know it's not my phone it has a snapdragon gen1 with 8 gigs of ram. My older phone with 6 gigs of ram runs the old mame 4 droids and both killer instinct 1 and 2 run flawlessly on it, so I know it's not a phone problem. Please get killer instinct 1 and 2 fps up it's the only mame games I play.
