★★★★★ Other than RetroArchPlus & Lemuria, MAME4droid 2024 is the best MAME arcade experience. You can either set to internal memory, which is android data or external, which is either internal or sd, so you can select a folder with MAME Roms. Exceptionally good emulation and touchscreen controller, much improved from earlier MAME emulators.

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't read roms directory, nor does it let you select a custom rom path

★★☆☆☆ This new update is way worse, my Roms from the original mame app doesn't work on this new mame update. Well some roms work, but the others don't, only 18 roms work and I have 135 roms currently on my enternal storage and some of them don't even work, but the original mame4droid works for all of my 135 Roms.

★★☆☆☆ This emulator can't run roms, it says (required rom disk images) that sucks.

★★☆☆☆ I was dubious, but this is excellent. EDIT: Dev has fixed the only issue ive had with this. This's one of the best reasons to own a good phone. Negative reviews seem to be people who can't work their file manager software, or other things on their end. EDIT 2. USING SERIES X CONTROLLER, NOW PLAYER 2 RANDOMLY STARTS CONSTANTLY, MAKING MOST GAMES UNPLAYABLE. BOW HALF MY ROMS NO LONGER WORK EITHER. I'M GUTTED. WHAT WENT WRONG??? PLEASE HELP. 5 STARS TO 1
