Mangalam Gati

Mangalam Gati is the field force app for Mangalam Cement's sales and technical teams. It replaces the notebooks, WhatsApp groups and end-of-day phone calls that a day in the field usually runs on, so the work is recorded where it happens and the office sees it the same day.

WHAT THE FIELD TEAM DOES IN THE APP

• Plan the day — a beat plan lists the counters to visit, with the route on a map.
• Check in at the counter — the app records the GPS point at check-in and check-out, so a visit is evidence, not a claim.
• Capture the visit — purpose, discussion, competitor prices, photos of the site and the stock, and a signature where one is needed.
• Log cement drops at home-builder sites and record the masons and contractors who influence them.
• Raise a new counter with its documents, and follow it from request to approval.
• Claim travel and expenses from the distance the app already measured.

WHAT MANAGERS GET

• A dashboard that reads in tonnes: sales this month, target versus achieved, the grade split, and the counters that stopped buying.
• The same numbers broken down by zone, region, cluster, sales office, state and district — tap a row to go a level deeper.
• Sales analysis over thirteen months, with month-on-month, quarter and year comparisons.
• Team visibility down the reporting line: who is where, what was visited, what is pending approval.
• Reports built from the register, with a downloadable file for anything that needs to leave the app.

BUILT FOR THE WAY THE FIELD ACTUALLY WORKS

• Works with a weak signal — visits and check-outs are saved on the phone and sync when the network returns.
• English, Hindi and Hinglish.
• Every screen follows the reporting hierarchy and the territory a person is assigned, so a rep sees their counters and a head sees the zone.

WHO IT IS FOR

Mangalam Gati is issued by Mangalam Cement to its employees and channel partners. Accounts are created by the company's administrator. You cannot sign up inside the app.

LOCATION

The app collects location at visit check-in and check-out, and in the background during a working day when tracking is switched on for you, so travel between counters is recorded for reimbursement and route history. Background collection stops when you end your day. You are asked for consent before it starts, and you can decline.
