Mango is a fast, powerful, and free ad-supported app to read manga (Japanese comics) on your Android smartphone or tablet. Choose from a library of thousands of fan-translated manga series in two languages and read 'em right on your Android!
Read any manga from a library of over 10,000 titles, with more sources being added all the time. Keep up with your favorites, or find new manga to read!
Mango's cloud parsing service helps remove junk data from HTML before sending it to your device, resulting in faster download times and less data usage. You can load all 9,500 of MangaFox.com's manga titles in just a few seconds, and without splitting it across 50 pages!
No one likes to use ugly, poorly designed apps. That's why Mango was created with user interface design in mind from the start, making it easy for you to find your favorite manga or find new stuff to read!
Save entire manga chapters to your device's SD card, then read them later whenever you want without an Internet connection using the My Library feature. You can read manga offline while at work, school, or even on a plane!
•Great Favorites System
Mango's awesome Favorites system lets you keep track of all of your favorite manga in one list, and offers lots of organization options like tagging, sorting, filtering, and search. Plus, Mango will automatically keep track of your reading progress for your favorited manga, so you never lose your place!
Never miss the latest chapter of your favorite manga series! The Notifications feature will periodically check websites for new chapters of your favorited manga and will let you know when a new chapter is available for you to read. It can even automatically save new chapters to your SD card, so they're always ready to read when you are!
Since you'll be spending most of your time reading, Mango's Pagereader has lots of nifty features to make reading manga on smaller screens more enjoyable. With smooth scrolling, pinch zoom, jump-to-page, swipe gesture controls, and animations, Mango delivers a seamless reading experience that's as close as you can get to an actual tankobon.
Every screen in the app features a "Send Feedback" menu option that lets you get in contact with me directly. Have an issue, comment, or suggestion? Please let me know!
•Unified Series View! Browse through all manga sources in one giant, merged list, and swap sources for your favorites right from the Favorites screen.
•Recommendations! Mango will suggest new manga for you based on what manga you have in your favorites list!
•Social-ness! Comment and discuss your favorite manga titles with other users, right in the app!
•More languages! French, German, Italian, Indonesian, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese manga sites!
•Cloud Sync! Keep your Favorite Manga list synchronized across all of your Android devices!
•READ PHONE STATE: Required by Mobclix to display ads and is used to assign your device a unique login ID for the Mango Service.
•READ SENSITIVE LOG DATA: is used to send diagnostic data from the system log for troubleshooting crashes. Since the system log is shared by all apps, this permission allows an app to potentially read sensitive data. Mango, however, ONLY reads data from the log that it has written itself, and even then ONLY if you use the Send Feedback function.
